FARMS-PRIDES COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
The Farms Prides Community Association (FPCA) owns a property located at 14 Oak Street in Beverly Farms, known as the Hastings House. This is the site for many family and community activities. The Hasting House contains several meeting rooms, a library, full kitchen, and gymnasium. Its truly a magnificent facility! The stated Mission of the FPCA is as follows: "To provide facilities and opportunities for rest, recreation, a healthy environment and many similar social services. The Farms-Prides Community Association, Inc. maintains and operates the Hastings House for the betterment of all children and adults in our community." The FPCA is privately funded and supported by membership subscriptions. Your interest and donations are greatly appreciated. Some of the annual activities held are; the Friday Night Youth Program, the Annual Pancake Breakfast held in October, and the Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration in December. The Hasting House is also the site of the Annual 4th of July Dance held on the Friday or Saturday prior to the holiday, and the Annual 4th of July Fundraising Auction held on the first Saturday in April. The Hastings House also hosts many of the meetings of other organizations in the community, notably the Girl Scouts and Brownies, West Beach Corporation, 4th of July Committee, American Legion, the Mothers Club, and has been the home for basketball leagues, street hockey games, and Karate lessons. The facility is also available to be rented for private parties The FPCA has a full Board of Directors and is always looking for volunteer helpers.
