HOW DO YOU ENTER A FLOAT?

1. Gather your family, friends, neighbors, relatives or whoever and toss around a few ideas. Get a commitment NOW to enter the Parade.

2. If you need a vehicle try to secure it early. Several people listed below may be able to help as they may know of available trucks and drivers.

3. Find out what you need for building materials and costumes and get them now.

4. Decide where you’re going to build the float if you need space.

5. Fill out the attached Entry Form or obtain one from around town or from the people below. Turn it in to John Solazzo (921-5201) or someone listed below.

6. Plan it now and have some fun!! First place can earn you $500. There are also a number of special prizes available.

7. Don’t panic if you are having trouble developing an idea right away. Many of the more clever entries over the years were put together on short notice - sometimes the night before the 4th!
